About Suri Alpaca: Both suri fiber and huacaya fiber, is flame resistant, moisture wicking, water resistant, lanolin free, and has natural thermal insulating properties. Suri fiber has a unique cool-to-the-touch feel, lovely drape, and luster which makes this fiber perfect for knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting, and hand spinning. Suri alpacas only make up 10% of alpacas in the US with their fiber being more rare and hard to come by.
